Lean In Vietnamese Coaches

No one should have to take their first steps in coaching alone.

Lean In Network for Vietnamese Coaches is a community of women working in coaching, counselling, or other work related to human development.

Why we
began

Our journey began when the three of us met in circles, first a Lean In Circle and later Her Space. That was our launchpad: a small, safe space where women learn to lean in, speak up and trust themselves more.

The road to becoming a coach was not easy for us. We know the feeling of finishing the training and still not daring to take on clients, and the lonely moments of having no one to share professional struggles with.

We bring the spirit and format of a Lean In Circle into everything we do, because we want all of us to have a community safe enough to experiment together.

This circle exists so that you have someone beside you, right from the first steps.

What few people say out loud when they begin as a coach

  • You have finished many coaching courses and collected many certificates, but still don’t dare to take on clients, afraid you are not good enough
  • Coaching is a lonely profession by nature: no one sees the process, it is just you facing yourself and your doubts.
  • Every night you ask yourself: do my clients really transform, or am I fooling myself?
  • You want to run a workshop, a communication campaign, an email series... but doing it alone makes it easy to put off and easy to abandon halfway.
  • You hit a hard moment in a coaching session and want to ask someone on the same path, but don’t know who to share it with without being judged.
  • You have worked in this field for a while and still don’t know which clients suit you, where you are strongest, and which direction to take next.

If you see yourself in these few lines, it is not a sign that you are not good enough. It is simply the first stretch of the path, and you do not have to walk it alone.

Three values that walk with the circle

The community wants to walk alongside the person behind each coach, not only their professional skills.

Authenticity

True to yourself

Understand yourself and dare to show up with what is uniquely yours.

Grounding

Steady within yourself

Stay yourself while you accompany other people.

Expansiveness

Expanding yourself

Keep growing and take the initiative to create your next stretch.

What’s here?

Regular sharing circles

A small, safe space to speak honestly about what is hard to say in this work: the fear of not being good enough, the question of whether clients truly change, the feeling of being alone.

A Year To ShineGlow in Flow

Making together

Build Challenge (14 or 30 days): build one concrete product together, such as a lead magnet, a workshop, a talk or an email series, with someone beside you until there is a result.

Cowork Sprint (3 or 7 days): sit down together to plan and keep to your goals, so you are not swept away by a pile of tasks.

Daily Rituals Bank

A “bank” of small habits. Each week you choose one ritual to practise, and the next week you can keep it or try something new.

Short courses

Learn exactly the skills you need for each stage of the work, for example positioning yourself or building your own website.

Part of the global Lean In network

Lean In Network for Vietnamese Coaches is a member of Lean In Global, the worldwide network of women who lean in, and grew out of the activities of Lean In Vietnam.

  • Connect

Meet other Circles and Networks to learn how they run.

  • Collaborate

Organise activities and projects together with partners in Vietnam and abroad.

  • Grow

Reach the standard materials and programme frameworks from Lean In to raise the quality of the circles.

Come into the circle

You do not need to already be “good enough” or “ready enough” to step in. It is enough that you are at the start of this work and want someone to walk with.
